The doors began opening faster then she could keep up with as the community, local law enforcement, schools and many organizations began hearing her story and asking her to share it. She has been actively traveling around California and beyond speaking to teens. Among many topics, she shares about how the choices they make can affect them and those who they love for the rest of their lives. This has become her greatest mission in life, If you were to meet her tomorrow or hear her message you would agree with us all… If anyone can do it, Chelsie will. Chelsie and her father and started the Walk and Roll Foundation, a non-profit that is dedicated to educating teens on distracted driving, inspiring audiences thought their wheelchair dance team and provides support to those living with spinal cord Injuries to help them recreate their dreams and live a fulfilled life.
Chelsie went on to be a cast member on Sundance Channel's reality show “Push Girls”. She is a founder of one of the biggest wheelchair dance teams in the world made up of 7 girls. She was also featured in Seventeen Magazine's May 2012 issue and travels the country with Colours Wheelchair Company promoting their company. Chelsie has participated in a Washington DC and Las Vegas Ballroom performance at a national ballroom competition. Chelsie is a co-writer of a fiction book called Push Girl. Chelsie is a well known Spokes Model for Team Colours and Ellura and an Ambassador for Coloplast, Smart Drive and the Differently Abled Community. She continues to travel around to schools as a motivational speaker about over coming obstacles, adversity, the consequences of making the wrong decision and most importantly never giving up. She spends a lot of time with many kids, teens, and adults with disabilities. She also teaches dance classes at disability camps nation wide.
